China's annual express delivery volume is over 60 billion, accounting for more than half of the global's total

According to the state post bureau, China's express delivery industry launched its 60 billionth item in 2019 on Thursday morning. Since the 13th five-year plan period (2016-2020), the volume of express parcels in China has increased by 10 billion each year, surpassing developed economies such as the United States, Japan and Europe for six consecutive years, and contributing more than 50% to the growth of the world express industry. It is estimated that the average value of each parcel in China is about 137 CNY, which means an indirect economic increment of 1.37 trillion CNY in 2019.
